Tears and more tears
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Tue, 2009-01-06 00:15.OPEN LETTER TO SEN. WYDEN WITH COPY TO REP. BLUMENAUER
I thought I had no tears left, I truly believe in my heart that the criminal family who has infested the White House for the last 8 years, and the do nothing democratic leadership for the last 4 years had taken my ability to cry. The brutal and immoral killings in Gaza by Israel have caused me to go back to yelling at the gods and weeping for our humanity. Why are monsters allowed to continue to kill at will, cripple any sense of caring, and laugh at the rest of the world? Are there more than one human species or many? How can bush, cheney,
barak, netanyahu and livni belong to the same species that I do? How is that possible?
Rep. Blumenauer you have failed us, but Justice will be done
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Thu, 2009-01-01 02:44.Hi All,
January 20th will be our last day to protest the earlman’s refusal to call for impeachment of the criminals in the White House. We will go from calling for impeachment to calling for Indictments!
Last Year-Silence from our rep.

In front of Blumenauer’s office in Portland, Oregon on the 21st Thursday of protest for impeachment:
On December 20th of 2007 just before Sara, Marilyn and I were arrested, I read the following statement dressed as Santa:
Woe to you Bush and Cheney,
Pray that Congress calls you to account.
If and when you leave office we will wait for you.
In every speech, we will be there,
In every restaurant we will be there,
In every baseball game,
you will see and hear us,
We will point our terrorized finger, than
turn our backs on you,
We will shout as loud as possible:
There goes the torturer,
the killer of children, the assassin of the Constitution,
There goes the destroyer of hope,
For the rest of your life, you will know our anger.
Pray that you are called to account for your wicked deeds now and not later.
Shame awaits you two, and redemption will be ours.
A warning to you Rep. Blumenauer:

ARMISTICE DAY-ltr to blumenauer
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Tue, 2008-11-11 21:40.Dear Congressman Blumenauer, 11/11/08
This is a good day to write and tell you how proud I am that you played a part in the election of Senator Obama. This is also a day to remind you that we, Individuals for Justice, remain outside your office every Thursday at high noon to demand that the Bush administration be held accountable for their many crimes against our Constitution. We will remain until January 20th, the day Bush leaves the White House, or you call for impeachment.
I will send copies of this letter to all the Oregon delegation and to Sen. Obama because they also play a role in determining what our new image to the world will be; time for talking is over, time for action is at hand.
As a veteran, (USN-1962-71) I was appalled that President Bush turned his speech on this day to more cheering for wars. The original intent of November 11th was to celebrate the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front in 1918.
We Won?
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Sat, 2008-11-01 18:10.When I wake up on November 5, I know that a new and exciting time will be at hand. Sen. Obama will be President Elect. I will be smiling from ear to ear; I will be a little “Giddy.” I will allow myself a few hours to watch the news and laugh at the republicans, but know that the real work is about to begin.
We must all stay in our groups, all the organizations that want justice, accountability, and peace must not disband, because the “Guy” got in, victory is not ours yet, we must work hard to make our voices heard in the halls of Congress and the White House. We have seen Sen. Obama move to the right and say things that must be said in order to be elected. We must now move him back to the left and fight for the America we all wish for and hope he is the “Guy.”
Please don’t think that we have done our work, it is not over until the rest of the world and our children feel the very thing that Sen. Obama says over and over, Hope!

we continue fighting for impeachment
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Tue, 2008-09-09 16:48.Last weekend started with a meeting Thursday to start the planning for the presentation of the Trial of George W. Bush, it ended by getting into a confrontation with Willy Smith and Mac Prichard about our protest outside of Prichard’s house. I have not seen Willy so upset, he was almost foaming at the mouth, telling me I had crossed the line by protesting at a private home. Willy told me in very clear language that if we blocked people coming in he would have us arrested. Prichard was angry about me upsetting his wife and ruining their fundraiser for the Earlman. I was kind of taken aback by their reaction, there were only three of us and we were not going to disrupt the party, just silently witness the continuation of the “Cocktail Liberals” telling themselves what peacemakers they are and how they want the war to end. Blumenauer after all, voted against the war! (He continues funding the occupation.)
Thursday with the Earlman Blumenauer
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Fri, 2008-08-22 22:54.Well, Thursday was a busy day for Individuals for Justice. We were at Earl’s place for our protest at high noon and four of us attended a “Town Hall” on Global Warming at 6:00 pm where Earl was going to take questions from his constituents. He did his usual speech about how wonderful he is and then announced he had to leave in a few minutes so that the fifty people who had lined up to ask him a question were going to be shut out. I was third in line so I did get to ask this question:
“Nancy Pelosi has said that new drilling will be considered,” Barack Obama has said, “Well maybe, if it is part of a package that includes alternative energy like wind, solar etc.” Will you guarantee to this audience that you will fight tooth and nail to stop all new drilling?”
He started one of his long winded answers, I cut him off and said, “It is a yes or no answer” He said in an angry voice NO!
One year of Waiting for Accountablity from Blumenauer
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Sun, 2008-07-13 18:54.This coming Thursday, the 17th of July will be our 1 year anniversary outside of the Earlman’s office. We have met every Thursday at high noon to bear witness to the destruction of the Bill of Rights and our Constitution. We will remain until impeachment hearings begin or Bush and his Dick leave the WH in January of 09.
In the year that we stood with our signs, occupying Blumenauer’s office, being arrested and threatened by the security force at 729 Oregon the following has happened:
Over five hundred soldiers have been killed in Iraq.
Tens of thousands of Iraqis have lost their lives, many of them children.
Many thousands have been injured to such a degree that families members must now take care of them for the rest of their lives. The casualties will not be known until we have a legitimate government in Washington.
Millions of people are now losing their homes.
Gas prices are through the roof.

It was week 50 for the Impeachment Vigil
It was also the Funeral for the fourth Amendment
A ceremony was held outside Earl Blumenauer's Office and it proceeded to the Federal Building in downtown Portland Oregon.
This event was for FISA spying immunities and permission given to the president to spy on citizens of the US with no warrants or respect to the 4th
Funeral for the 4th Amendment video 6-26-2008
Over a dozen Impeachment activists contribute to a mock / real Funeral for the Beloved 4th Amendment
Different testimonies are given from citizens who love their freedom and the Constitution
There was also Music, and then a procession up 3rd Avenue past all the Federal and Justice Buildings
A sad day as the Democrat controlled Congress sends to the grave our right to privacy
Dirty words
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Mon, 2008-06-23 17:03.I will be wearing black on Thursday, and my sign will say something about the death of the 4th Amendment. I will also have a sign that says:
INCUMBENTS
DIRTY
WORD
Congress, as a whole, has abandoned us for whatever reason---fear, power, money, or just plain stupidity, I don’t care what the reason is they all have to go. That will be my rallying cry from now until November, when people see that a politician has the word incumbent after his/her name they will get sick at the thought of voting for them. There may be exceptions to this blanket broad brush of indictments, here in Oregon I can think of only one, Rep. Peter DeFazio. The rest of the punks must be beaten, sent packing, get our of our face and “Begone” forever.
INCUMBENTS
DIRTY
WORD
I like the sound of that, see you on Thursday, high noon at the Earl’s Den.

Portland will continue the pressure on our "Cocktail Liberal Congressman Blumenauer"
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Thu, 2008-06-12 16:13.June 12, 2008, 8:38 AM
Come join us in the fun with a message that we are still watching and damning what the democrats are about to do. They will carry this genocide of Iraq into next year. There will be deaths, more slaughtering of the innocent, but the politicians will not have to deal with funding during the November elections. That is their desire, ours is to let people know that this must not stand.
ENOUGH.
This is not the time to give up, something is afoot and we must keep the pressure on our cocktail liberal congressman. Blumenauer must be made to feel the anger of his constituents.
High Noon today,
729 Oregon St
Bring a sense of humor and embarrass the bastards! These actions are now happening all across the nation.

Flying Chickens
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Mon, 2008-06-02 15:02.Let The Chickens Fly
Next Thursday, June 5th about 12:00-12:30 PM we will fly two rubber chickens in front of the Earlman’s office. The first Chicken will be called, “Pelosi-the-Chicken-Hearted” and the second will be known as “Earl-The Gutless.”
We will try to fly the chickens to the top of the buildings for all to see. There will be signs explaining the reasons for our unusual flight.
Come join us in the fun with a message that we are still watching and damning what the democrats are about to do. They will carry this genocide of Iraq into next year. There will be deaths, more slaughtering of the innocent, but the politicians will not have to deal with funding during the November elections. My Moment of Freedom--27 May 08
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Fri, 2008-05-23 03:46.My Moment of Freedom
During our protest in front of Rep. Blumenauer’s office, I had decided to leave the Democratic Party. Just before the deadline for filing for the US House arrived I decided to wait and file to oppose the Earlman and put off my moment of freedom. The primary is over and it is now time to break from a party that has lost its way and become part of the continuation of the slaughter of the innocents in Iraq.
On May 27th in solidarity with the brave and honorable people who will face trial in DC for protesting outside of the Supreme Court I will sign the paperwork to leave the democratic party and become an independent.

The Town Hall was stunning, people stood and told their representatives how they felt and thought concerning the occupation of Iraq. This will be a true testimony to our officials that; “We the People” have had enough!
These Town Halls were taking place all over America, tens of thousands of people held meetings to tell their reps to do something about this occupation and to stop the genocide of Iraq.
The call in show with Jim Lockhart was great, four citizens telling it like it is and none of the BS that you are used to hearing.
Thanks Joe and Jim, it is an honor to know both of you.

Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Sun, 2008-04-27 16:33.This is an e-mail I sent to KPOJ Radio on April 22nd:
I called in at 0830, identified myself to Paul as Joe Walsh, candidate for the US House of Representatives. I wanted some time to talk about two stories that came out on Friday and Monday about the plight of our beloved veterans. These are two stories that must be taken up on your show, and Tom’s national show.
We will be hearing no news today because of the horse race taking place in Pennsylvania, and this story will be lost in the dog and pony shows.
I ask that you arrange a time for me to call in and speak to this issue. Blumenauer has free access to your station and I expect something close to a fair amount of time to respond to what is happening to our vets.
For Justice and Peace,
Joe Walsh, Candidate, US House, Dist. 3

Dear Paul, Tom and Carl,
Call Out
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Tue, 2008-03-25 01:34.This is a call out to send a message to the weak kneed Democrats who have watched this administration destroy everything we love about America.
I am running to replace Representative Earl Blumenauer in the 3rd District because he refuses to hold Cheney/Bush accountable in any meaningful way. This is not politics as usual. This is a cause that I have been fighting since the Supreme Court appointed these criminals to the White House in 2000.
Impeachment Canidate Runs for Congress
Submitted by lonevet2008joe on Thu, 2008-03-20 22:31.As your representative in the House, I will always carry your message; this is what representative government is supposed to be like. Your voice must be heard, not mine.
Many of our politicians believe that they know more than any of you, that they know best and will explain it to you latter. Town Hall meeting should be about hearing what your concerns are and my response should be to carry that message to all of my colleagues in the House. Let the Senate be the place for millionaires, let the House be made up of working men and women who know their constituents.
